Inez Kaiser was an extraordinary woman. She was the first African-American woman to own a PR firm. This website details how she began her journey into public relations. She was told by a colleague that she should consider entering the field of public relations, so she did. She founded her firm Kaiser & Associates. She faced a lot of adversity in her lifetime, she was actually the first African-American woman to open her own business in Kansas City.

This website details some of her accomplishments in the public relations field including being the first African-American woman to join PRSA and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, advising presidents on the issues pertaining to minorities in the US and her business Kaiser & Associates was well-respected in the public relations community.
